Dr. Di Perna offers LINX ®, a new laparoscopic procedure to treat GERD. This procedure involves a string of metal beads that are drawn together by a magnet. When this string is placed around the lower esophagus, the magnet pulls the beads together and closes off the esophagus from the stomach.

I've been a patient of Dr. Diperna for over 2 years. He has restored my faith in the medical field. Truly dedicated to caring, personal attention of my needs, fears and concerns.

First off, the STAFF is so nice and efficient. If the doctor was a minute late after our appointed time, I'm surprised! This Doc has it on the ball! No nonsense and to the point, but not cold... and not a minute was wasted. LOVE IT. Gave us an option and we took it. Our opinion was: "Thank you for the opportunity to have you in our lives". The scenario: Walked in the office and didn't even finish the paperwork and we were in a room. Looked at the pictures on the wall, which were informational, and before you know it we are shaking hands with Dr. Diperna and listening to what the options and his opinions were. Next thing you know we are at the nurses desk and then scheduling surgery! Just as simple as that. Haven't had surgery as of yet but had to say what we feel right now so if someone is going in to see him for the first time I hope this helps.

The best surgeon in Sacramento!!!

It was a long drawn out grueling journey but I finally made it through the GI departments attempts to give me substandard treatment for a problem only resolved with surgery. We waited an hour and the office visit was short. I was emotional. Dr. Di Perna went through all the facts I already knew, I needed surgery for achalasia. How about this week? Four days after surgery I was on my elliptical trainer doing my regular workout. The follow up office visit that was 5 minutes long. He didnâ??t hold my hand and comfort me. He got me into surgery in three days and back to my life. He is skilled, experienced and proud of what he and his team do. I will patiently wait another hour for another 5 minute visit for my three month follow up. I got what I needed and am very grateful.

I consider Dr.Di Perna A top-notch surgeon and father. The many years I have known him, he has shown exceptional leadership,being polite and quite aggressive with his pasta plate! I wish him continued success and hope he does communicate with family & friends often!
