Dr. Courtney Holt Cowden, MD

Automatically felt like he was only there for the paycheck. As he walked in the room, he asked me if he could help me and didn’t even know what I was being seen for. He was careless and made me feel so neglected as a patient. And undermined my intelligence. A week prior to this visit X-rays were taken off my foot and I was told to stay off it because it’s fractured. Then I go in and get another X-ray by him and it wasn’t even X-rayed on the side I had it fractured on. He then tells me there’s nothing wrong with it. I asked him if they could take another X-ray because it wasn’t properly X-rayed and he refused it. Refusing to properly getting my X-rays done after I was told it was fractured, can leave me with a longer healing process and possibly future surgery. All because of your lack of attention and compassion. I do not recommend going to him. You’ll be honestly wasting your money. I think it’s pretty sad that I’m having to go to a second doctor just because he wouldn’t take the time… to care about me as his patient.

Be prepared to wait half an hour or more. They want you to come in early but will let you wait.

I totally agree...VERY poor service. They must be very busy, and short staffed because it was hard to get her to call me back. And when she did, she blamed my primary Dr’s office for not having all my records, when (I was informed) she had access to all my records just as well as my primary Dr. Got my pre-op done and still 2 weeks later....nothing!! This has nothing to do with Dr. Cowden, it’s the service I’ve gotten from his office!

This is my first visit . I showed up early and here I sit half an hour past my appointment time . To be honest I am going to walk out .

My son tore his ACL and meniscus. We went to see Dr. Cowden and he explained everything throughly. His staff is just as good!

Was sent over on a referral from my treating doctor. My husband I ended up walking out of this office quite upset and disappointed on the way we were treated. The office was totally empty so I was confident I would be seen today. After checking in with the front office medical assistant and explaining who I was she proceeded to roll her eyes, sighed a few times and responded in a sarcastic, rude and uncaring manner. She treated us like we were an inconvenience and we were a bother to her. The doctor was aware of what was transpiring because she spoke to him a couple of times from where she was standing in front of us, he was just out of our eye view. Although I was in severe pain and needed to get seen I decided this office does not put their patients well being at the fore front. I asked for my referral back and as polite as could be I told her why we were leaving and suggested she take a good look at her attitude, professionalism and customer service. The doctor never bothered to… come out. From other people's reviews it seems this is the kind of treatment they are known for so I am sure doctor is ok with it since they continue to do it. My advice to others considering going there? Don't waste your time, money or insurance benefits on this place. You are worthy to be treated with respect and common courtesy. I will never go back and will make sure to tell everyone I know.
