Dr. Craig William Furry, MD

Horrible bedside manner. Did not explain diagnosis or stick around for questions even though we were dealing with a life threatening diagnosis. My sons chart says he appeared weak with vomiting but no other alerts until blood work came. However, this dr. went as far to report to dcfs that our child was not cared for, we didn't address his sickness, and that I had no right to treat him for the flu that I had no medical certifications. After being airlifted to children's hospital they confirmed this is not something we could have caught and that it happens more often then not with this diagnosis. And contrary to his report, I do in fact have medical certifications. Dr. Furry lectured us, interrogated us, and told us what horrible parents we were due to not realizing this sooner even though the specialists said there was no way we could've. Then at a horrible time of recovery and struggle for our family he reports us to authorities, sends police officers to our home and dcfs to the ICU… unit. Thank God for the experienced drs who knew what they were doing and were more educated then Dr. Furry who only assumed and jumped to conclusions due to a lack of knowledge or experience in his medical diagnosis

thanks to Dr furry, i received wonderful care in marion hospital. he didn't hassle my need for pain meds and went to bat for me to get me admitted. 2nd or 3rd time I've seen him in er and always a kind compassionate person

dr. furry is a great dr. he has been my dr for about 10 yrs and i love him he is the best dr i have ever went to.
