Dr. Craig Allen Lemmen, MD

This was by far one of the most interesting interview with Dr. Lemmen . The USPS sent me to Dr.Lemmen For a fit for duty exam “Mind You” they use “PsyBar” who represent large company to avoid “Lawsuits” Dr. Lemmen is one of the many starving psychiatrist who has his own practice and is in need of patience so they’ll do anything even risk their practice to make money 1. He showed up without my file and has know idea about me 2. He was taking note on the back of a roofing flyer and started grabbing anything to take notes on 3. During the entire interview he kept saying where’s my phone. “He couldn’t find his phone and was so distracted he kept asking me the same questions over. 4. He was slouching in his chair as if he was in front of the tv taking notes. Dr. Lemmen is unfit and has a very poor memory he may have the degree but that doesn’t make him a decent psychiatrist. He ask me how was I able to repeat the numbers he was given me backwards “Duh” memory and just keep saying it in my… head forward and just say the number needed aloud. I took a fit for duty examination with the VA Before going to Dr. Lemmen which will follow me the rest of my life because I had to check myself into the clinic for 3 days and I received a pass fit for duty from the VA. I saw doctor Lemmen for “90 min” With 30min testing and it seems I didn’t pass….See you in court the USPS set you up and PsyBar won’t represent you one more thing “How is it you can’t get in touch with him” line is always off or busy

The phone service has blocked “all calls” according to their main line today. I feel for everyone else who has medications that he has prescribed that might have a big problem not getting our mental health medication. I hope to find a new psychiatrist before mine run out. On “good” days you can leave a message, but you won’t hear back quickly because it is an answering machine located somewhere in the cosmos because it doesn’t seem to be answered at an office or something like that. You have to call leave a message, they will call back, but if you miss that call, you have to call back and do the dance again. If you have a medication that needs a prior auth, expect a week or more. …or ever. Like me. Dr. Lemmen is nice, but in the way of being polite, but not really caring what you say. Like he is doing you a favor to talk to him. The appointments with the doctor were rushed when I could finally wrangle down an appointment. He didn’t care about the new panic I was experiencing,… or side effects from new meds I was trying. It felt like he wanted the appointment, give you your medication and on to the next. It was rushed for sure. I am wondering what happened

I was sent to see Dr Lemmen briefly and the experience was awful. I was trying to get mental health help in his office for the first time, he was cold, rude, and unhelpful. I left and found someone on my own who was a better fit.

No credit card? No mental health services!

He spent time with me and actually got to know me and cared about my medical needs and medication was so easy going not like the rest of psychiatrist who don't listen and make you feel uncomfortable he's great I give him 5 stars

Dr's office constantly has errors in documents, forms, etc. Appointment dates are never correct on forms. Issues of medical benefits

He is not very knowledgeable on the best 21st century medications. He likes to stick to the "heavy medicine that has been around". He illegally wrote me prescriptions for multiple controlled substances that probably would have been okay 20 years ago.

Doesn't care about your problem, more concerned with getting paid.

Dr Lemmen was my shrink for the past 10 plus years. Always trusted him, never doubted anything he said. Then, he threw me under the bus. I will not be going back to him. He has a good bedside manner, his office staff is nothing short of amazing. Always a cheerful voice on the phone and they are extremely helpful.

These ratings are meaningless for a forensic psychiatrist. As one, Dr. Lemmen sees and assesses people who have committed crimes. Often they won't be happy with what he does despite it being the best thing for him. I'd be suspicious of ANY psychiatrist and especially forensic psychiatrist with 4 stars.
