I brought a scan from his radiology downstairs but he insisted he had to do another scan of the exact same thing in his office which cost me hundreds the insurance would not cover due to having just had one his colleague ordered. He he was rude, disrespectful, degrading and unprofessional. He did not address the health issue I had the appointment for. I would not recommend him and I will never go to him again because I do not trust him.

I usually don't like to write reviews, but I don't want anyone else to waste their time. This doctor was only worried about putting me through a sleep study instead of looking at my thyroid, spent 30 seconds on my thyroid and that was it. What a joke even my PCP was upset on the outcome that he thought I needed a sleep study instead of taking care of a regrowth of my thyroid.

Feel so confident and so happy to have Dr. Wierum as my endocrinologist, He is thorough, but does not keep you coming back often if not needed. He is a very caring doctor. I am so happy to be his patient. Thank you Dr. Wierum!

Dr. Wierum is without a doubt my all time favorite DR. Not only is he knowledgeable, he's so wonderfully compassionate and personable unlike most doctors. He really makes you feel like he cares about you as an individual. He goes that extra mile to make you feel good. When he told me I didn't need to come back for 3 years, I almost said I needed to come back in a year just to have an experience of seeing a 1st rate doctor in every sense of the word. I shouldn't be surprised though! He went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I'm a Charlotte native.
