Dr. Crystal April Manuel, MD

I saw Dr. Manuel as an inpatient and was totally turned off by her lack of empathy for me as a patient. She has the absolute worse bedside manner that I've seen in a long time in a physician. I do not understand how she became an attending physician. Most of the patients who've had her during inpatient status agree that she's mean, not easy to talk to and should not be practicing medicine. I would never recommend her as a physician.

This doctor discriminates against caucasian patients and provides very poor care, especially when it comes to ECT. Treatment is selectively administered in a biased manner. Her insensitivity and arrogance make many patients worse off after having seen her than before they had any treatment. She and her ECT staff have no communication ability and put patients' lives at risk.
