Dr. Cynthia Renee Bryant, MD

Her availability appears predicated on social bias, time and time again, as evidenced by cooberable deceptive front office tactics

I went to Dr Bryant a few times for anxiety, depression and panic attacks while on LOA from my employer. Her office assistant/manager Jay is extremely rude and never answers the phone; so good luck trying to make an appointment. I needed medical information to send to my employer; office notes, etc. At the time, the office stated their phone wasn’t working and was waiting for the cable company to come and inspect or fix the issue, so I was given a number to text. I text the number with normal questions and with information that my employer needed. Jay responded back and forth with me but after a few messages was extremely harsh, stating “dude you’re going to get blocked and to do my research” and that the number he provided me to text was only for patients in the hospital. Which I completely understood. In all honesty, I would go back to the Dr because of my mental health issues, but not if Jay was there! He is extremely rude and there is proper etiquette as a office manager how to… respond to patients, especially someone being treated with anxiety and depression.

Had a first appointment scheduled for 7pm. 8:45pm and still no call. Unprofessional and a complete waste of time.

I read all the comments before going in and still thought I would give it a shot. Needless to say, I will not be going back ever again. The receptionist called me at 6pm and I had a 7:30 appointment, asking if I could come in at 7 instead. I said yes and arrived at 7 and filled out all my paperwork. I did not see Dr. Bryant until 8:20pm. An hour and 20 minutes later! And they asked me to come in early. When I finally saw her I was less than impressed. She kept taking phone calls and text messages throughout my appointment, asking me completely irrelevant questions (like about my dating life) and then gave me medications for completely wrong symptoms (said to take medication for insomnia.... when I don't have a hard time sleeping). Save yourself two hours of your life and find another doctor.

Could not give her less than 1 star, but save yourself the aggravation SHE IS THE WORST DOCTOR EVER !

If u like waiting forever & never getting a call returned - this callousness is for u ! ! !

Dr. Bryant is a very caring and compassionate doctor. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a psychiatrist. She always makes time for her patients. She has helped me a great deal and I'm so glad she's my doctor.

every time i saw her, i have waited at least a few hours. the appointment itself was very long as well, which i felt was filled with things unrelated to the benefit of my health. "spending "enough" time with me" as an option: sure, she spent enough time, but way too much. every time i had to see her was a full day event... don't plan on doing anything else that day. she also over-diagnosed and overmedicated.

She really cares about her patients, and always takes a great deal of time with me. I would rather wait on her then have a doctor rush me thru like a number.
