Dr. Cynthia Kathleen Flynn, MD

This Dr made a very poor decision regarding my mother while she was in her care. My mother - a resident at a memory care facility was denied access to amblutory services needed to transport her to the emergency. Dr Flynn blocked the order and gave the RN’s strict orders to not call the ambulance saying that if family member felt my Mother needed an ambulance then she can call and get one herself. The RN on duty that night told family member that even though this order has been blocked by Dr - I’m going to call one for you mother anyway. Dr felt my mother didn’t need to go to the emergency and said she would be fine. My mother spent 4.5 days in the hospital battling severe dehydration, a uti, and not able to walk, talk or eat solid food. She was able to do all of these things just a week prior. She is still trying to recover and is currently in a skilled nursing facility after being released from the hospital. If she doesnt recover from this whole ordeal we will have to place… her in a nursing home. A word to the wise, do not let this Dr near your loved one’s!!!!!

She was rude, uncaring, and made you feel like you were in prison getting a strip search! She misdiagnosed me because she wasn’t listening to a word I said! She walked in the room with a blank look on her face which then changed into a crabb who hated her job! I would not even let this women deliver a animals baby! I went 3 years with no change because she misdiagnosed.

I would agree with the other review that Dr. Flynn has no empathy. I had a very hard delivery and I felt she was uncaring and neglected to check up on me often enough. One of the nurses commented that she was used to delivering horses and it came across in her practice. Not sure if that is true or not. I have a lifelong medical condition now for which I had to have a corrective surgery as a result of going through such a long, tough labor of my 9.12 baby. I should have had an emergency c-section. I never should have delivered such a large baby naturally. I also had to have two epidurals and almost a third because they kept wearing off due to the long labor period. By the time I had the baby the second one had pretty much worn off. She showed no empathy toward me. It saddens me that I had such a negative experience with my first born and that I have a very difficult medical condition as a result of this delivery and it could have been avoided with a c-section. I believe she… didn't want to bother with that. Also, I found out that I had a fourth degree tear from a nurse who said I would likely have lifelong problems as I was checking out on the fourth day (baby was in special care due to labored breathing and other issues). Dr. Flynn never explained this to me. Also, I found out at my daughter's 2 week checkup that she had her clavicle broken during delivery. Of course, no one told me that either. I would never recommend her.

Dr. Flynn has absolutely zero empathy for a patient who is truly in need. There are so many issues in which she fell below the standard of care in my case that it boggles the mind. Cynthia Flynn was cruel and totally inappropriate when I was in my greatest time of need. Please do not risk your health with this woman.
