More about Dr. Cyril T Sebastian
Primum non nocere, an old principle in medicine, is still true today. It means “first, do no harm.†I will not offer patients harmful or unnecessary treatments. I will not offer patients harmful or unnecessary treatments. I will be blunt when I think I cannot help a patient, but equally as blunt, when I believe a condition requires treatment to prevent future neurologic problems that might be irreversible. However I temper my honesty with compassion. I have had personal experience with low back problems - a herniated lumbar disc in the middle of my spine fellowship!
