Dr. Cyrus Torchinsky, MD

I had my first surgery (parathyroidectomy) last week. He held the results from me to not have me worry all weekend, and wanted to wait until I visited him the following Monday. Sorry to say, I have to reschedule another surgery for next week. I just know I'm in wonderful hands with Dr. Torchinsky, he's great! Thanks Doc!!!

I had a tonsillectomy done by this doctor, he did not bother to see me before the surgery or after. He or his office did not check up with me after the surgery or to ask me for a follow up appointment. I scheduled two appointments afterwards because I was not feeling that I was healing up properly after a painful three weeks but he spent less than five minutes with me each time. When I asked a question it was as if I was taking up too much of his time and is there anything else??? He is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. Do not recommend.

This doctor had three of us with the same appt time right after his lunch. I asked to have a procedure done and it's been 6 weeks and no updates or scheduling. I found him on yelp. Those people had to have been paid for their great reviews because I wasn't impressed. I have to find another doctor. I guess he is too busy for me

After 2 misdiagnosis from 2 separate General Practice MDs, I love my PPO, and I love Dr. Torchinsky even more. He took his time to talk to me, asking very specific questions that went beyond the obvious symptoms, he answered all my questions (even the ones I wasn't actually asking about), and diagnosed me with a condition that I have had for the past 7 months. The 2 previous doctors took major shortcuts - they heard the primary symptom... and stopped there. Oh, and he also checked for medication interactions... never a doctor or pharmacist took that precaution before. Funny thing is, there is an app for that!!!

i had septoplasty and turbinates reduction. dr torchinsky was very professional, caring and accurate during the entire process. the surgery was fast, the recovery great and i felt no pain at all (i did not need any pill for pain!). excellent doctor and excellent person

Dr. Torchinsky is wonderful, he diagnosied my health issues (choking and lump in my throat) right away that 4 other doctors ( GP, ENT, Neck Surgeon and Gastro ) were not able to figure out. He also has helped me with my TMJ that I have had for 30 years, I had no idea you do not have to live with the pain! I would highly recommend Dr, Torchinsky!
