Unlike most doctors these days, Dr. Nelson really listens to you. When you are old enough to need a geriatrist you usually have been with your body a long time and know it better than the medical personnel who may be reading notes about you for the first time as they are seeing you. Growing old can be scary and it is reassuring to have a knowledgeable physician to advise you and who takes the time to pay attention to your questions and concerns.

She is a good doctor, technically, but; She is in a different facility every day sometimes 2 a day. The case load is huge and she just started using the computer. If you are I'll in a day she is not at your facility, you might get a call from a nurse or they might send a technician with machine to take vitals and send them to be interpreted. It's geriatrics, the end of the road and they make you feel that way.
