Rude and disrespectful

Dr. Gilling is a wonderful pediatrician. She is thorough and fantastic with the patient, our granddaughter. Lorraine Love, her nursing assistant is awesome. The entire office staff is the best too! My granddaughter loves going there, that says it all right there.

My son has been seeing Dr. Gilling for about 8 years. He has special needs that require frequent office visits, and thecoordination of care with several other specialists. Dr. Gilling goes above and beyond her role as pediatrician by coordinating appts, and arranging hospital admissions. She has even called my son in the hospital while she was on vacation to check on his progress. We have had many doctors for my son, and Dr. Gilling is the best!

In my experience Dr Gilling practices harmful "defensive medicine" - meaning she runs a range of unnecessary and even harmful tests to "rule out" extremely unlikely possibilities just to protect herself from liability even when it is not in the best interest of the patient. This is made worse by the fact that she does not take the time to explain what she plans to do or why sufficiently to allow for an informed agreement by the patient (or caregiver, since she is in pediatrics). I would highly recommend seeking out a different doctor and in fact, would recommend staying away from this practice all together.
