She is twists the billing for her own profit. The staff is beyond rude. She doesnt look at you - rushes you and dismisses your concerns. Horrible place all around.

Dishonest billing practices as for months they mis billed me and the office staff actually yelled at me when questioned. I went to Dr Wessel because she was available - now I know why. Horrible and dismissive doctor, rude and angry staff - truly the worst drs office I have ever been to.

Unbelievably rude staff - rudest I ever met. The staff and one particular staff member yelled at me and clearly needs some help for her anger issues. Dr has terrible bedside manner - she dismisses and doesnt listen. Will never go again! Stay away.

I visited Dr. Wessel for an annual well visit in fall 2021. She asked typical screening questions, which I answered honestly; when one question asked about sleep quality, she offered advice that included making sure the room was dark. This was the precipice for what has turned out to be a months-long billing dispute, as she claims that I ventured outside the confines of my (fully covered) well visit when I responded to a question that asked about how well I sleep, and instead coded it as a sick visit, recording in her dictation that my visit was centered around expert care for sleep problems. This is care that I did not ask for, that lasted less than two minutes, and where she told me to try meditating and making sure I’m tired and in a dark room. It is boldly dishonest and I gather she did not think I would catch the coding error. Instead of a visit that was to be fully covered through my health plan, I am stuck with a bill for nearly $200 for “advice” I did not ask for nor find… useful. Also - I saw another similar review that mirrors this experience, where they went in for a well visit and became hyper focused on a specific issue on their chart. If this is a pattern, it is insurance fraud.

Does not look at you while talking to you - focuses on the computer instead Does not listen to your concerns - dismisses them in turn Does not like you knowing more about something than she does - Googling medicine, side effects, or your condition is a BAD thing in her mind Knowing about your body, how it acts/reacts to things, knowing what works/doesn't is not a good thing to her. Pro: actually WASHES her hands before she touches you. The only doctor (dentist, derm, ER doc) I have EVER seen do this. I came from a warm doctor who LISTENED to me, formulated a plan based on history, and was a pleasure - but their practice was terrible with long wait times (hours) and no emergency visits. Main Line Health is much better with that but sadly the doctor does not hold up to my last.

Her bedside manner is appropriate and I feel comfortable with her. She's pleasant and sincere. I definitely recommend!

Very thorough and took plenty of time with me.
