Dr. McGovern has helped me so much. I finally found a psychiatrist who listens and cares and is effective with my treatment. He explains things and communicates so well. I suffer from depression and have gone through a lot in life. He always takes the time to understand my struggles and challenges and to see the whole picture with me. I have improved so much with his medical care and am enjoying my life again. Thank you Dr. McGovern!

Dr. McGovern actively listen to my personal concerns and problems. He is a very knowledgeable and caring Doctor. I was finally heard!

I am so grateful for Dr. McGovern and how much he has helped me. I was depressed and hopeless and he helped bring balance back into my life. Under his care, I can now function so much better at work and with my family and I am sleeping much better! Thank you!

Dr. McGovern is the first psychiatrist I've met (and I've seen several in my lifetime) that genuinely listened. He asked questions in a way that came across as caring instead of the typical scripted-let me check the boxes to get to the script writing part. I didn't feel rushed during our consultation. He clearly explained things to me in ways no other psychiatrist has before. The ONE medication he recommended vs THREE I have been taking with little relief has created peace in my mind for the first time in my life. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in YOU psychiatrist. If I could give 10 stars I would

Unethical and incompetent doesnt even scrach the surface. Refused to do any type of assignment before choosing the most harmful and extreme treatment. Refused second opinion. When I asked for a secondWhen I asked for a second opinion he said he would send in his nurse but because he was he said he would send in his nurse but because he was lead nothing nothing will change are you still going to do whatever he was going to whatever he was going to do. I asked to switch hospitals and was refused and told it was up to this incompetent doctor. Very disrespectful and refuses to take history in account. Disrespectful and some times aggressive to parents, patient, and their long standing medical team

Disrespectful and unethical. Overprescribes medication and does not listen to patients' concerns.
