Dr. Damon Russell Korb, MD

Dr. Korb and his staff are welcoming and supportive to my daughter who does not easily warm up to most adults. Over the past few years, she has gone from standing at my side to standing up on stage.

Dr. Korb is incredibly passionate, committed and down-to-earth about his work w his patients. He connects w the kids in emotionally "safe" and affirming ways. He changed my life as a parent (gave me knowledge and hope) and my son's (who was diagnosed w ADHD when he was 6 yrs old). Korb gave us very concrete behavioral steps to take along w some meds and some diet guidelines. Consequently, my son ended up w exceptionally high grades between 2nd and 5th grade and made a perfect score on the ISEE in Quantitative Reasoning in addition to very scores on the ERBs. My son received excellent scores for "integrity" and "conflict resolution" and good scores for behavior during the 6 years he was at Trinity, Menlo Park. Korb takes parents' frustrations seriously. He used to offer free monthly talks by his staff at lunch time and I wd love for him to continue this. My complaint is how expensive he is....he charges $25 just to get a refill on perscriptions.

Working with Dr. Korb and his staff has been a wonderful experience for my son and my family. We have been to several other clinicians in the past, and never felt like we were listened to. Dr. Korb connected with my son and my husband and that is not easy.

Dr. Korb recently assessed and diagnosed my son, who has autism. I was so impressed by the manner in which he asked me (mom) questions about my son and his developmental history. Dr. Korb absorbed everything I told him, and reported it succinctly to the psychologist when she came in I felt everything I said mattered to them and was considered in their assessment. They seemed to "get" my son. Although there is some sadness in getting this diagnosis, they also gave me hope and a sense of validation. I felt better afterwards than I did before I had the diagnosis. They were great at answering questions and devised a clear action plan, so that I know what therapies to know pursue for my son. Speaking of whom, he fell in love with Dr. Korb and didn't want to leave! I've never had that problem in a doctor's office before. I would highly recommend this practice to other parents.
