Dr. Dana Marie Lee, MD

Dr. Dana Lee, a native of the Midwest, received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a pediatric residency program at University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her pediatric career since that time has been rooted in community pediatrics. After eleven years in Flagstaff, Arizona as founder of Mountain View Pediatrics, Dr. Lee established Paniolo Country Pediatrics on the Big Island of Hawaii in 2001. She continues to provide a wide range of pediatric health care to the North Hawaii community. From busy clinic practice to the hospital care of children and newborns, Dr. Lee finds great professional and personal satisfaction in Waimea. Her commitment to partnerships with North Hawaii families fosters lifelong habits of health through preventive care as well as the treatment of childhood illness. her love of clinic pediatrics, Dr. Lee has a special interest in newborn medicine. She is a regional …trainer for the Neonatal Resuscitation program and an active participant in a statewide initiative to improve newborn hospital care. Outside of her practice, Dr. Lee enjoys time with her family. While two of her chicks have left the nest, one remains in high school and keeps the Lee Ohana busy with volleyball and paddling. Dr. Lee is currently serving a three-year term on the North Hawaii Community Hospital Board of Directors after over two years as Chief of Staff for the NHCH medical staff. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue in service to the North Hawaii community in a variety of ways.
