Most unpleasant doctor visit I've ever had in Pueblo. The staff seems rude and uncaring and the doctor's manner is unprofessional, to say the least. She performed a cystocopy--injected anesthetic, then left me alone on table for nearly an hour. I thought they had forgotten me. When she finally came back to perform the procedure, she and her nurse were talking to each other and joking (I think about my anatomy). She absolutely didn't listen to me or answer questions. I went to her because I thought it would be better having a woman urologist. I was wrong. I since have seen a male urologist (somewhat reluctantly), but it turned out to be a positive experience. His staff and nurses were professional and considerate, as was he. That experience was night and day different from seeing Dr. Weaver. I would never go back to her office for treatment.
I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I am a nurse and my mother was treated for IC by her and she is as close to a "quack" as you can imagine. Did not do any kind of culture and sensitivity on my mothers urine samples and put her on a diet that was very limited and contributed to her poor health. She would prescribe antibiotics based on symptoms. This doctor needs to be reported to the state board!
