Dr. Daniel Berens, DO

I have had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Daniel T. Berens, has been very pleasant, listening to what I had to say, looked at my charts on computer on what meds I am taking and what to change or get rid of. He is a lot better than some doctors that ask what you want, give you the prescription and on you go. will always go to Dr. Berens. Thanks again for your good work and all the staff. He came in and started talking about a medical problem I didn't have, when I stopped him, he asked, who are you and what are you here for. when I explained it was to renew a prescription for an allergy problem he just started babbling about me needing to see a specialist. He then wrote a prescription for a different medicine. He scribble some things on a note pad, gave me the paper and said anything else. I asked him what he knew about the new shingles shot, he said he didn't know anything about it, (it's only been in the news for a year) when I asked the nurse she came back with a notecard that was available in the nurses bay with info on it. When he finally wrote the prescription for it, I could hear him mumbling "I think I did that wrong". sure enough when I got to the pharmacy he had prescribed the old shingles shot. When I got home I made a new appointment with a different doctor. Total waste of my co-pay, if I had needed treatment that day, I'd be dead.
