Dr. DeAngelo received his MD and PhD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1993, followed by residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He served a clinical fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he joined the staff in 1999.

Dr. Deangelo is the reason why I am still ALIVE and beat AML. He is also the reason that I was able to have a child. He helped preserve my ovaries while going through chemo. I owe so much to Dr. D. He is hands down the BEST Dr. I have ever had!!!

I really like Dr. Deangelo. He's caring, witty, and spends a lot of time with me when I go for a visit every 3 months. I have Chronic Myeloid Leukemia: His area of expertise. I travel a long way to see him and he's worth it! I was seeing another doctor and having problems with rashes and he was able to resolve the problem. It's your life and health. Go to the best. He is the best! The only thing I don't like is getting my test results after my blood work. It takes an usually long time and a follow up phone call.

My husband passed away in 2011. Dr.. D'Angelo was in CA., giving results of his research. He expressed his sympathy with a form letter. The nurses and social worker (Mary Lou) helped us through this difficult time. He did not, since he was unavailable.

Dr. DeAngelo is friendly, caring and kind. He instills confidence in his patients as he helps them navigate through cancer treatment.
