This medical center has unethical billing practices. They claimed multiple times to have filed my visit with my insurance company but then kept billing me the full amount. I checked with my insurance company and they said a claim was never submitted. When I questioned the billing department they claimed they had the wrong address and a host of other excuses over the course of 3 months. Bottom line, they did not file with my insurance company because they didn't want to accept the negotiated rate by our insurance company. BEWARE that they do not file insurance claims with your company regardless of what they say. They will only bill you the FULL amount and expect you to pay it. I believe in paying for services provided but its unethical to claim to accept insurance but then never file the insurance claim.
