Dr. Daniel Hunter Ervin, DO

Never have I seen such an incompetent office run, requesting medical information be faxed, was ridiculous. HIPPA is meant to assist in your care, not inhibit it, but with them it inhibited it. Release of information faxed to them and still could not forward my information. Then charging me for a copay already paid, and having the audacity to say it was never paid, when every other copay had been paid on my cc, but I have to show proof, because they are incompetent. Go to Boston, don't waste your time with incompetence>

Dr. Ervin is one of the best doctors! He’s very thorough, makes sure you’re informed whether he sends you home with meds or what not or if you have to have surgery. I’ve had surgery done by him twice and each time there were no issues! I’d recommend him to anyone!

Everyone at the Westminster location are very nice, conversational and accommodating. The doctor is very personable and does a good job of "getting his patient involved" with his work. This, I feel makes our son much more comfortable while in his care. As one would expect, he includes the parent(s) in the conversation; keeping his descriptions of the patients' situation very easy to understand; giving us as much time as we need. Visiting his office is a real pleasure - at least as much as you can have when "going to the doctor"!

I have been seeing Dr. Dan for a number of years now. He is a very capable, caring, and professional physician. My first encounter was severe, unstoppable nosebleeds, and he was the only doctor who treated me efficiently. Another doctor performed surgery for a deviated septum and made it worse. Dr Dan went back in and did it the right way. Since then, he has treated polyps on my larynx, infected ears issues, as well as maintenance on my septum. He also replace a perforated eardrum on my wife. Highly recommended.

I came to Dr Ervin with severe ear issues. He was able to help me with my situation and has been an excellect Dr. !

As on-call DO for Leominster Health Alliance Hospital, my elderly mother was given Emergency discharge instructions to see Dr. Ervin for follow up. Office would not grant us a visit, giving our only choice as going back to the ER or to wait a "couple of months" to remove ER packing and a post-emergency follow-up. Shameful. Uncaring.

I recently had surgery with Dr. Ervin. I found him to be informative and courteous at my initial pre-op examination. He did a wonderful job with my surgery. I felt very confident when the OR nurse at the hospital told me as I was entering surgery that she takes her children and parents to him. I had no pain following my surgery and no bleeding or bruising as usually occurs. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Dr. Ervin or refer a friend or family member to him.

I met with Dr. Ervin because I had nodules found on my thyroid. I had to wait in the waiting room about 20 minutes which was frustrating since I had an early appointment.

I visited Ervin's because of a fungal ear infection in my left ear. I was very clear in telling him this- then he stuck a long, pointed stick in my RIGHT ear, jabbing into my ear drum, which was incredibly painful. I asked him to stop, he said he was "opening it up", no further description. He poked hard again and I began to tear up and cry, and upon the 3rd scrape I had to shake myself away from his hands and out of the chair. He told me I had bad ear wax build up and could take over the counter drops in both ears. He looked in my left ear only briefly, saying there was no problem, but I swear he did a number on my right ear- it's an hour or two after the original appt and it still hurts! Note: I was in his office for no longer than 2 minutes. Multiple doctors have diagnosed me with a fungal ear infection already, and all said that over the counter drops would aggravate an infection of that sort. I am quite scared of anyone, friend or not, going to this guy. Seriously, what in… the world? I will be finding a contact for his superior/higher-up and letting them know of all this.
