Summary
Daniel E. Hermann, MD, MPH, was inspired to become a physician because of his father's poor health. "Watching how compassionate doctors were with my father and knowing how they helped him made me want to do the same for other people. I wanted to be a pediatrician so that I could help kids get better from or manage their illnesses as quickly and easily as possible." He believes that a healthy diet, physical activity, love, encouragement to explore their interests, and guidance to do the right thing are necessary to help children thrive. To his credit, Dr. Hermann is listed in New Jersey Family magazine's "NJ's Favorite Kids' Docs."
