Dr. Daniel Joseph Crawford, MD

My child and I had a horrible experience with Dr. Daniel Crawford, I wouldn't recommend him to anybody and I do plan on filing a complaint with the medical board. Extremely unprofessional and rude.

Can not think of enough good things to say about this doctor. He has the respect of his patients and hospital staff. My daughter was an unusually difficult case and he went to great lengths to find a treatment plan. He found her correct diagnosis where so many others had failed. He is a talented, hardworking, and caring doc with a gentle way with both children and caregivers. If the time, skill, and effort he spends were measured in dollars, no one could afford him. If you get him on your team, be thankful! It must be remembered that his job is short term crisis management, not long term therapy, which makes what he accomplishes all more the remarkable.

My daughter was in the IPU at Children's and he added no value to her care team, yet he was he head of her care team. He did not read the daily parent visit reports and was not up to speed on how it was going for her based on really time info that he actually interfaced with, including her. His meetings with parents were not informative because he was merely repeating info we already knew. He merely wanted to move our daughter along so she could be discharged so it freed up a bed for the next person. She was discharged before she was truly ready and now 2 months later is so much worse off than then.
