I was referred to Dr Ketterer by Piedmont ER. Dr. Ketterer made me feel very comfortable discussing my situation. He made a dermatologist appt for me for the next morning for a biopsy. I left the office at 5p and at 8:30p he called to tell me he was reviewing my file stating he suspected what I had was due to medications given by another doctor. I was diagnosed with Sweet's Syndrome, which is a very rare disease. Dr. Ketterer was very responsive to my emails. When I contacted him to advise I started feeling sick again, he immediately called in a prescription to the pharmacy. He also recommended a visit to a rheumatologist and has kept in contact with me. This is the type of doctor you want to see!

One of the best healing feelings one experiences when one is in a hospital is when you meet a doctor who immediately makes you feel that "no worries, you are in his caring hands" I am 77 years old and have met some great doctors in my life time. I was priviledged to be seen by such an accomplished physician at Piedmont, Atlanta when I had MERSA. I enjoyed his bedside manor that made me feel safe. I would refer him to anyone who had a problem in this area....

Reviews are very subjective and certainly based on the time of service. Iâ??ve learned that it is important to see a doctor more than one time before leaving a review. I also recommend that patients not leave a review for the doctor if he/she is particularly interested in you leaving a review. Your reviews should be inspired by your service and your desire to share your experience, not the doctorâ??s desire to gain notoriety or popularity. A good doctorâ??s reputation proceeds him or her, so no solicitation is necessary. I write this review because I am passionately disappointed by the follow-through from Dr. Ketterer. Like many of you reading this review, I am fortunate to have a job with benefits and that job keeps me busy, so I rely on effective and timely communication. Although my first and only visit to see Dr. Ketterer was pleasant, I found the follow-up to be lacking in many ways. 1) I had difficulty getting my prescription filled by the pharmacy, so I needed Dr.… Ketterer to send a referral, which he didâ??but to the wrong place. What makes this experience so frustrating is that I provided him everything through the portal that he claims to check regularly. My request was not acknowledged in any manner, so I assumed that it was handle (thatâ??s my fought). When I received a call from the pharmacy, I was very frustrated because I did what was required of a responsible patient by making the request. Had Dr. Ketterer responded to my requestâ??even to just acknowledge that he received itâ??I would not have had to call the office several days in a row to speak with someone personally regarding the matter. Luckily, Ebony took care of the problem, but I was disappointed that Dr. Ketterer would take so much time to build a rapport but not communicate with me regarding this very important matter. I was spoiled by my first doctor because she was the â??total packageâ?? as it relates to practitioners. She responded to emails/calls â??every timeâ?? you reach out to her. I only contacted her 2 or 3 times a year, so it was not bothersome, but I appreciated knowing my issues would be handled promptly and professionally and I donâ??t feel that way when working with Dr. Ketterer and that is unfortunate given his level of knowledge. However, I will never compromise my high expectation for doctors treating their patients as it if they were their your own brother, sister, mother or father. We deserve no less care!

I went to the Atlanta ID Group expecting to see a different doctor based on a little research. When I was told I would be seeing Dr. Ketterer, I had no objection because I did not know any of the other doctors. When he walk into the room and asked me to share a little bit about WHO I AM before we discuss my record, I knew I had someone special. He is very knowledgeable about the latest research and makes recommendations accordingly. I appreciate his questions and his willingness to listen with not only a medical curiosity, but also personal one as well. Finding a specialist is easy, but finding a doctor, who simultaneously respects your concerns, is humble, accessible and easy to contact is sadly not as easy. After receiving my lab report, I had a few questions, which he promptly answered. Dr. Ketterer possesses the traits of a top clinician with excellent personable skills, and his interest and commitment to the community most at risk makes him a wonderful medical… professional for anyone seeking a specialist.

I have absolutely enjoyed my experience with Doctor Ketterer. He is very personable, knowledgeable and spends quality care time with me on every visit. He is an attentive listener with a good memory and is very thorough and caring.

I arrived for my first visit afraid and nervous shortly after learning I was HIV+. Dr. Ketterer spent the time needed with me to explain all of the details and make sure I didn't leave with any misconceptions or misguided fears. He showed kindness and compassion. Dr. Ketterer's examination was thorough but without the judgement that many of us fear related to STIs. After following his treatment plan for 3 months, I tested undetectable. It was obvious that he cares deeply about the success of his patients.
