Dr. Daniel Spencer Lemke, MD

This doctor is literally the rudest and lest thorough doctor or person I’ve ever met! We had him as a doctor in the emergency room. Brought my daughter in for an extremely high fever, rash, and possible seizure. He came in the room looking at us like we were trash, said he wasn’t worried about her fever because he doesn’t worry until it’s 107° and hers was only almost 106°. Said even at 107° some kids have seizures and they’re just fine. So my kid is fine. Walked out the door and said we’d have discharge papers in a few minutes. Didn’t do an exam, run any tests or anything. At this point, i was fuming, so my husband called up there and spoke with him (he is a fire fighter) and the doctor basically told him that our daughter had a “virus”. It couldn’t be a bacterial infection because her fever wasn’t 106°, couldn’t be strep because kids under 2 don’t get strep, and couldn’t be the flu because she had a rash. All of which my daughter has had with these “can’t happen” situations. I… wouldn’t even recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. He is horrendous.

Our child had a one centimeter tear under his eye. Dr Lemke first said no surgery due to eating banana and drinking as well as cut being from pet. However another Dr Delemos came and pushed for the single stitch. Dr Lemke preyed upon mother's fears of a scar while rubbing the wound saying "it is going to scar ... You need the stitch." $5500 for one stitch with ketamine shot which was a "street drug" according to Lemke. We said no thank you and Dr Lemke would not shake hands.
