Dr. Daniel Mass is a highly regarded expert in orthopaedic surgery of the hand and upper extremities. My best advice is to find another doctor. He is irresponsible and only concerned for his reputation. My arm is most unusable after Dr. Mass operated on me. I went to another surgeon but the damage was already done.

Had a complicated issue and after meeting three docs I chose Dr Mass. He performed three surgeries on me over a few years and took good care of me. He worked well to integrate my care with pain mgt team at hospital also. You can wait a very long time at appointments which I think they could improve upon in scheduling (understanding that emergencies do come up). He has had different nurses through years who are all smart and busy; some are slower to reply than others. He has a quirky personality and sense of humor which sometimes is hilarious and other times seems grumpy. He really cares about you though and I would see him again for an issue. Very professional.

his answer for everything is a cortisone shot. Just in it for the money. I'm still not healed after 4 years and he has no answers at all. but he did the surgery.

When I first met Dr. Mass I didn't care for his "bedside" manner all that much. However, on my return visit to him I thought he was somewhat humorous and pretty caring towards my situation. I will be having surgery and my instincts tell me that everything will be fine.
