Dr. Daniel Medic, DO

I am a student in the Westmorland area and I was very very sick during my last semester of studies. I was mis-diagnosed in the Excella ER with pneamonia, and I was told to follow up with a PCP. I contacted dr. Medic’s office and was told I had to physically drive across town to his office and sign for my records to he sent over before I could schedule. They never called. I then had to drive across the state to see my PCP at my old residents because I was not getting better. It turns out that I had cancer. If I was able to get in to see dr. Medic, he could have followed the same protocol, and prevented my disease from spreading as far as it did. He needs better people working for him.

EXTREME CAUTION: doctor assistant: "Laura" makes many: Medical, Ethical, Legal & Moral mistakes. She accusing me of seeing a doctor I have never been to and taking medicine I never took! When I went to correct this Titanic mistake she threw a: "hissing-fits"?

Dr. Medic is a great man and doctor. I have no problems with him. the Doctors Assistant is a QUACK. She makes: Medical, legal, moral and multiple ethical mistakes on a non-stop basis. Laura the Liar accusing me of seeing a doctor I have never seen. Taking medicine I never took. When I tried talking to to her and correcting her mistakes she thru a hissy-fit and stomped out of the room like a little girl who just soiled her panties. You call this the action of a health care giver? Would you trust your life?

went for a check up . 15 minutes early, waited approximently 1.5 hrs for a routine check up. Had a series of test ran a quick draw. office never called with the results. had congestion in my troat told me it was allergies and percribed allegies medication. Not. dropped me as a patient because I didn't perform regular blood test checks. Gave me no notice of this other than a phone call from the receptionist. There are far better family doctors who care about there patients.....

Dr Medic and his staff are the best. He never rushes an appointment...spends as much time with you as needed and answers all questions. Sometimes it is worth waiting for a little while to have a Dr. as considerate as he is.

Dr Medic and his PA, Laura, always allow you enough time to be understood. You never feel that you are being overly rushed. I read other reviews complaining of long waits. That has not been my experience. I do think it is impossible for a doctor to adhere to a strict schedule if everyone is to get the attention he needs and emergencies are always a possibility. I have been in Dr Medics care for many years and I am completely satisfied with the care I have gotten.

if you have 3 hours of waiting for your appointment in his waiting room to waste...then you may be happy. I feel that my time is just as valuable as his...left work early to get there for my appointment and just to wait, and wait, and wait. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS - INCONSIDERATE. Never any followup...not even with test results that he ordered. You have to call them!

Dr Medic is great and so is his Physician Asst. The wait time is atrocious! I have waited as long as an hr in the outer waiting room and an additional 45 minutes to an hr inside exam room. Most of the staff is good minus a couple of very rude women!If it wasnt for Dr Medic I would not go there...he needs additional Dr (s) on staff!
