I saw Dr. Parish in July of 2023 because I was concerned about a new mole -- I chose Schwieiger because i could get in quickly. I had an appt with Derm. Associates of Bryn Mawr on the books for later in the summer but didn't want to wait. Dr. Parish said my mole was fine... not concerning. Fast forward to my appt 6 weeks later at Bryn Mawr and the doctor said if it was her she'd take off the mole that I was worried about since it was new. Fast forward to today, it's a superficial melanoma. Dr. Parish told me I was fine. I'll let that speak for itself.

I had only seen Dr. Parish twice. His practice Schweiger Dermatology is owned by a huge corporation. There are 40 locations in NY, 16 in NJ and 9 in PA. One cannot ever speak to an office. When I have phoned, a call center person answers stating the location of the practice- which is misleading. Once I had phoned stating that it was an emergency & needed to be seen ASAP. I was told that the next appt. was in over a month and I was also told very tersely that “the practice was not an urgent care practice.” How disgraceful!! Also, was told I could not speak to the office directly. The worst part was that the person had a thick accent & I realized that it was the same every time I had called. I asked the call center person if she was in the United States. She said she is in Columbia. HOW DISGRACEFUL. All calls are outsourced to another country although they falsely state the location of the local office. Also when I had seen Dr. Parish, he would only tend to whatever I related… to the call center. When I mentioned another dermatology issue, he said I had to have it scheduled it or he could not even look & make a suggestion. BIG BUSINESS at its worst.

excellent dermatologist. Dr. Parish has amazing bedsides manners and unparalleled clinical acumen. His knowledge base and ability to explain to a patient are outstanding. Dr. Parish helped my father with diagnosis and treatment of a somewhat spread basal cancer on a ear and the outcome was excellent. office staff is very helpful and friendly as well.

Dx. when no one else could.
