Dr. Daniel Rea Miller, MD

Listen, Dr. Miller is an jackhole. He would probably tell you that. He is not Mr. Rogers and doesn’t claim to be. Should his attitude be a little less “House?” Probably. However, He didn’t diagnose me with Meniere’s but had taught me ways to cope with it. I can live a normal life where many cannot. He didn’t diagnose me with endometriosis but when Hamre wouldn’t listen he personally called him and talked him into surgery. That “non-existent” endometriosis that Hamre was too negligent and arrogant to see had wrapped around my urethra and was pulling my intestines open like a biscuit can. There were several times when doctors here in Nashville were taking too long to diagnose me or prescribe the right meds (not pain meds) that I drove the hour to see him. He saved my life so he can talk all day about his war stories if he wants. Because you know what? I am STILL alive to listen to them!

I waited 9 weeks for my appointment with Dr. Miller. I arrived 20 minutes prior to the appointment as requested by his office. I then waited for 40 more minutes past the appointment time. I went to speak with the staff and they notified me Dr. Miller was running an hour and a half behind schedule. (Also including the information that he normally runs behind with appoiments.) Because I don’t have 3 + hours to spend at a doctors office I asked to reschedule. The next available appointment would put me another 5 weeks out. (14 weeks past my original phone call to see a physician) I do not understand why if we the patients are paying A LOT of money to be seen, why it’s okay to make us wait so long without even a courtesy notification? No, I will not be seeing a doctor for my personal health who does not value my time like I value his. When I pay for an expensive service I like to receive at least some common courtesy.

Dr. Miller is the type of doctor who will ask you to describe something, and interrupt you halfway through your first sentence. He talks about his other patients, his travels around the world, how he survived being shot at and mortared in Iraq, how his pay has been cut due to Obamacare, and how there is only ONE possible answer to a very complex medical issue. We won't be returning now that he's given us the referral we tried to get three months ago when we first saw him.

I am so glad to have Dr Miller as our family doctor. He always takes the time to ensure you understands what he is saying to you. He shoots straight. The girls are great too!! Thanks ladies

He is the best. You are guaranteed a wait time, but when it is your turn, he will take as much time as needed. He is one of a kind.

I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Miller. He is always kind to me, and really listens to my needs and how I feel. I couldn't ask for a better doctor. He has really saved my life by pulling me way out of my depression, and diagnosed my Peripheral Neuropathy before my Neurologist did. He is an amazing doctor, as well as a very caring soul. I would recommend him highly, and I have done so many times.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Miller when he first came to Premiere. I was very very sick and Dr. Miller took wonderful care of me. He showed true concern for my well being. I know that the staff and him stayed late to finish taking care of me (he had me on an iv). When I was better I quickly switched him to my PCP. He always takes such good care of my husband and me. He answers my questions, listens to me and has no problem telling me how it is. A lot of my friends have Dr. Miller and I have never heard anybody speak negatively about him. My only complaint, really isn't so much about him. He is kind of a victim of his own success. Sometimes it can be hard to get an appointment with him although I have heard and been told a few times this is more of an issue with Premiere and their booking practices then Dr. Miller and his availability.
