Dr. Daniel M. Torrez, MD

My autistic son was waking up in the middle of the night crying, kicking, biting his arms, banging his head, and he would grab my arm and bite me. I made an appointment and the wait time was 4 months. Finally when I got to see Dr. Torrez, he could not offer any advice, make any recommendations or prescribe any medication. He was totally useless. He should not be a doctor.

My child received a diagnosis in regards to sleep issues and was referred for treatment to CHOA. The first Dr we saw was of no help so eventually we requested another appt at another location. Dr. Torres saw us for the initial visit and then ordered a sleep study. We also we're scheduled to see the sleep psychologist in the practice. An appointment every 2-3 weeks in Atlanta traffic to return a sleep diary and be told to keep pushing bedtime back was getting redundant when my kid couldn't sleep. The follow up appt with Dr.Torrez was cancelled and scheduled back with the sleep psychologist the day we were expecting follow up results. I kept questioning why he didn't meet with us and I said he pushed us over on someone else is saying, "there is nothing more I can do for you." The sleep psychologist said, "pretty much." We only had one appt with him and he completely dismissed my child and our concerns. We have very erratic sleeping patterns and his office is telling me that his study is… otherwise normal. Even the sleep tech threatened to send us home because he wasn't sleeping. I feel that if you don't have a concern for your patients that you are in the wrong career. My child has a history of challenges and we came to this appt with hope for answers. And we were just dismissed as if my child wasn't important. I will never return my child to his care nor will I recommend him.

Dr. Torrez is an Excellent Doctor, he has been with my daughter since she was10 years old and now she is 17 years old. Thank you for your excellent service.

Dr. Torrez is fantastic. He works well with the children and the parents.

Dr. Torrez is a wonderful doctor. I would recommend him to anyone who needs his expertise. He cared about my child as if he was his own child. Any questions I had, Dr. Torrez took the time to explain them to me and my childs disease in great length. Never was I rushed out his office and he always was at my childs bedside when he needed him. Dr. torrez is magnificient and an exellant doctor and person. I will be forever greatful for Dr. Torrez and his staff.
