Dr. Daniel Pesek Valach, MD

Dr. Valach is the absolute best doctor I've ever come across. He took terrific care of my mother, who donated a kidney to my brother, until she died in 2012. He balances his patients' diets and meds to the milligram to keep them stabilized and fine tunes everything in their systems. I have Stage IV emphysema, and just was released from hospice after over a year, and I'm now with Dr. Valach. I just had another problem and was hospitalized in Memphis, and will be seeing for a follow-up next Friday. I can't recommend Dr. Valach highly to everyone!

Rude, arrogant, refused to listen. Makes patients wait for hours. Cancels appointments. Office looks like a storage unit. Clutter. Bathrooms, and office area needs cleaned and sanitized.

Dr. Valech saved my life. Yes, it takes awhile to see him for office visits, but when he gets to you, he is very thorough. He told the emergency doctor that he thought he could lower my potassium, which was 9.6 without dialysis and he did. I feel safe after I have seen him. I still see him on a monthly basis.

Do not count on seeing this Dr. Appointments are an exercise in futility! I have had four appointments with him so far and each one was postponed. The first was a morning appointment with call from his office staff at 9:00 PM that evening saying he could see me now. I have a 45 minute drive to get there. Never got a call for the second one . The third one's call came at 6:00 PM as we were sitting down for our dinner. Try calling at the last minute to postpone your appointment and see what happens. The only time I have seen Dr. Valach was in the hospital after surgery and the 2 subsequent admissions after set-backs.

Really smart doctor. Is blunt and gets to the point. Staff was helpful and he has late hours making it easy to go to after work.

Dr Valach saw my husband and I and spent a considerable amount of time reviewing our past medical histories. The staff was up front about the possibility of his being late for the appointment, but they called us at home to let us know he'd be there within 1/2 hour. It was much easier waiting at home than in the office. The appointment was at 1:15 and we were called at 3. He has a certain way of working in which he makes himself available day or night in an emergency. With many ill patients he may be held up, and if you are not willing to take that into consideration and tolerate a long wait to see him, then you may need another doctor. I debated the pros and cons of choosing him, knowing both his scheduling pattern and his good reputation among my friends. After our first visit, I was impressed with his knowledge, manner and care for his patients. Once we have been with him for a while, I'll write a follow-up review.

Negligent care caused severe infections. Took months to recover. Inaccurate diagnosis.

dr valach is a great dr he has saved my husbands life twice he is knowalgeable cutting edge fast thinking we love him we see him in salem and he is always running late lol

He is always there for you. You have his cell phone number from your first visit. He will always answer or return your call.
