Dr. Daniel Israel Zivony, MD

I had and still am having nightmares of my dealing with Dr Zivony my face still hasn't healed and I have had another cancer of the same kind on the other side of my nose treated by a different doctor and without any pain or the nightmare I went through with Dr. Diving it's been 2years and I'm not healed yet Dr. Diving caused if he problems for me due to his surgery but this other doctor did the removal of the same cancer in the same location just the other side of my nose without swelling or my entire face becoming Black and Blue and without little to no pain. I'm very unhappy with my visit to Dr. Zivony

I would Highly recommend Dr. Zivony . He was very professional and kind . Great experience . I had very little pain after my surgery .

I had a suspicious mole on my forehead. Dr. Zivony and staff had it tested. Yes, cancerous. He removed it. No scarring or any sign of it. None. Very kind and professional. Staff is too. PA Chris is very good and now going back every 6 months to be checked. 5 stars!

I would keep him as my Dr. for dermatology.

Dr. Zivony was exceptional. He was very patient when I told him my problem. He was thorough in examining me. He took time to answer all my questions. I have referred my family members to him.

I can't say enough about how positive my experience was with Advanced Dermatology and Dr. Zivony. I did not have to wait long to be seen, and I found all the staff to be kind and comforting. I had a skin cancer on my face and was very concerned about the scar that would be there after the removal and reconstruction. I just came in for my 6 month check up and my face looks great, and the "scar" is barely visible. I am surprised about how good it looks because I had a big surgery with over 40 stitches. Thinking back to my experience on the day of surgery, I found Dr. Zivony to be sincere, pleasant, and very patient with me (I was a little anxious!) He was also very thorough in both his explanations and reassurance. I was especially surprised that he called me at home that evening to see how I was doing. He is a great doctor, very skilled at what he does, but also quite caring and patient. I would highly recommend him for Mohs and feel very grateful that he is my doctor and here in… Asheville!

pI was in the office all day. One of the first there and last to leave...it was like an assembly line. Most of the time I was in a room by myself. The surgery was on an area just above my lip. And Moh's surgery was done. Well I think he sees himself as a plastic surgeon, which he is not....that is what I needed....he removed part of my lip and did flap surgery....and I am forever scarred and I have b een asked if I ever had a hairlip I would not go back to him if you paid me. He was arrogant and seemed more interested in having as many patients in one day as he could $ueeze in. He did my surgery under local, which kept needing to be redone as I waited for him to finish the surgery. I was crying because of the pain I was in and the lackof concern on Zavoney's actions... When I see the reviews I can't believe that that is the same person. My surgery was done 5-6 years ago. If I had it to do over again, I would sue him for damages for what he did to my face. I hope he… has gained enough humility to know when he is in above his head and recommend a plastic surgeon..

I, felt so confidant in Dr. Zivony, he proved to be so professional, caring, an expert in his field of Mohs surgery, 5 weeks later so pleased already with my results, he was so attentive and caring , his nurse staff is excellent so understanding and office staff great too.. I, would highly recommend Dr. Zivony to family and friends.

Growing up on the west coast of Florida, the term basal cell carcinoma has become a very familiar term. I was referred to Dr. Zivony through my local dermatologist due to the advanced stage. Over a period of 3 weeks he surgically removed all 4. All together I had approximately 60+ stitches on my cheek, brow line and forehead. I am happy to say the areas healed quickly and 5 months later I am totally scar free. I don't wear a lot of makeup and my friends still can't tell! Most importantly, the process was pleasant. The office atmosphere was calm and soothing-almost spa-like! The staff was very professional, but so personal (thanks Donna). Dr. Zivony was highly professional, but more importantly so composed and unruffled. I honestly felt like I was the only patient in the office and the most important! I have been to several dermatologists over the year, in Florida and now North Carolina and the experiences have not always been pleasant. I react to dermatologists like most people… react to an oral surgeon, but I honestly enjoy my appointments and know I am getting the best care in my area. I would highly recommend Dr. Zivony to friends, family and strangers!

After many problems with the doctors I used in Miami, I have been completely happy with Dr Zivony.He knows exactly what he is doing.We are all luckily to have him in Asheville
