Dr. Urma was my lead doctor when I was hospitalized with severe sepsis after an UTI infection in 2017. She listened, asked probing questions, and clearly communicated the situation and her recommendations for my treatment. She aggressively treated the infection with procedures and brought in specialists immediately when complications occurred. Mostly, she cared, and she gave me confidence that we would get through it.

Dr. Urma is a terrible communicator. During my stay at the hospital she regularly mis-communicated decisions mades by the specialists treating me which caused a lot of unnecessary stress. She was also defensive and dismissive and suggested that my issues were with her accent and not the fact that she was giving me inaccurate information.
