Dr. Daniella Etel Courban, MD

Poor diagnostic abilities, very irresponsible, assume you have some diseases so she can earn more money. Terrible bedside manner.

We were amazed at how poor Dr. Courban's care was. We had complications with our pregnancy. She was barely present (only called once) while we spent weeks in the hospital. She was cold over the phone and in office visits. During a postpartum follow-up, she expressed very little interest in what had happened or in our wellbeing. Her care, in a word, was: terrible.

Always felt rushed. No personal connection at all and I felt like I was inconveniencing her when I asked questions. She also made some mistakes during my delivery. Thank goodness everything went fine despite her. Would never go back to this doctor.

GYN exams are never easy, especially when you have some medical issues causing that area of the body to be irritated or sensitive. I found Dr. Courban to know her science, but very rough in the way that she examined me. She had an impatient tone during the physical exam, and even used more force than necessary, I think. I saw another male GYN in Kenmore and in Somerville at other times & they both were much more sensitive to the delicate nature of the GYN exam. I was disappointed.
