Dr. Dara Anita Josiah Howze, MD

Dr Howze is uncaring and callous in the treatment of patients and their families. My son is barely over 18 and because he is legally an adult, she would not speak with us about his treatment, diagnosis, or current condition, even though my son gave her permission and signed paperwork for her to talk to us. I have never met a doctor with less compassion who is only concerned with driving up medical costs to increase her salary. This lack of compassion hinders her ability to help her patients. Her treatments did not help my son but made him worse. He was only able to get better after I was able to find a different psychiatrist. I would give her a zero if I could.

I have recently seen Dr Howze within a month, and to me, she seems to give back reprisal responses when you challenge her theories. Not good work ethic. You should not be afraid to question Dr Howze without her scrutinizing you, or cocking an attitude with you. Her body cues are insensitive.

She is the worst doctor I have ever met. She does not try to understand her patients problems or needs to give any kind of helpful care. She has very little face-to-face contact with her patients and simply pencil whips her decision because she does not even give the slightest hint of caring about what she does or the effect it has on the patient.

I understand that Dr. Josiah-Howze is in the national guard but a professional doctor would have let her patients know in advance that she wasn't coming back for months and not lock the door and stop answering the phones. Sad she thinks so little of her patients.

I would reccomend this practice because they seemed to have a desire to help out with what ever is needed to get to the root of the problem an d they are growing to be a full service doctors office for mental health

I am VERY happy with this doctor. She is very easy to talk to and was GREAT with our first visit. I would tell anyone to use her for their child. I am looking forward to the benefits for my son! She asks the right questions and spoke on my sons level as well as mine! VERY GOOD child doctor!!
