Dr. Darrell A. Roberge, DO

My mother was his patient. She had contacted him 2 previous times when she was is crisis when he wasn’t in the office and didn’t get help so I don’t know why I was expecting much. After a hospital stay and some major medication changes she begin to show some major memory problems. He agreed to take her off one of the meds and thought that would solve the problem. Then over a span of 3 days including a weekend it was like she completely high, but the med should have almost been out of her system. I called his office Monday morning and was assured they would get back to me. I called back right before 5 and the office was already closed. On Wednesday she forgot how to get dressed. We were done with him and called asking to see another provider. There are only 3. It would be a 6 month wait. We took her to her primary care doctor. He was so angry at Dr. Roberge’s treatment of her. He ordered a bunch of tests including a brain MRI. My Mom has a large brain tumor. Most likely cancer. I… don’t understand when you are in a position where people are so vulnerable that they are literally deciding if they are going to live or die that you can ignore people the way he or his office does.
