Dr. Darrin R. Mangiacarne, DO

I have only been here twice so far but I can honestly say that Dr. Darrin Mangiacarne has got to be the most caring and concerned doctor about his patients. I am so fortunate to have been referred to him. For sure 5 stars plus for him!!

I have been on Suboxone the program for a better part of five years. I've seen a few doctors have liked a few hated a few, most appointments are usually the same you see the nurse fill out your paperwork talk to her doctor comes in takes your vitals ask you what you need gives it to you tells you to keep up the good work and he's gone. They always seem to be in a rush and you're too afraid to voice your fears in your struggles cuz you don't want to be judged or kicked off the program so you just hold it in and try to fix it yourself and then what always ends up happening you relapse and then they kick you out. When I went to doctor mangiacarne I expected the same, but what I got blew my mind the doctor sat there and talked to me for over a hour getting to know me. This doctor is so darn smart I had no idea there was so many different options in things you can do in all I can say is this doctor is a wonderful doctor he could have prescribed me a placebo and I trust him that much I've… been happy with whatever, And he changed my medicine and usually I would have just went to another doctor but he's the doctor and he knows what's best and he wants what is best for me and his patients individually and there are no words that I can put down here that can say how I truly feel like I'm starting to live again and have hopes anybody that is struggling with addiction should come to see doctor mangiacarne he knows what he's doing and he is an excellent doctor kind and generous and humble and funny.

Dr. Mangiacarne took care of me during my darkest days of detox. He was friendly and took time for me to 'unload' my sorrows. I am so grateful to be sober and want to thank Dr. Mangiacarne for it.

Dr. Mangiacarne was very kind and compassionate with me during my detox stay. I was terribly sick with withdrawals and he took extra time to care for me.

Dr. Mangiacarne has horrible bedside manner. He treats addicts as if they are scum of the earth and abrasively questions everything they're saying accusing them of trying to circumvent around the truth. For a man with his credentials and in this kind of field, he should know that those detoxing are fragile and sensitive and should approach them just so.
