(THIS IS WORTH READING).. I called a few days ago for an ADHD evaluation. Lady at the front desk told me she was going to consult with Dr. Hege and give me a call back later that same day. I never got a call back. Today I call back after a few days not hearing from them. (I COULD NOT MAKE THIS UP) The receptionist tells me Dr. Hege was not going to see me. I ask “well what is the reason behind that?” She goes “I don’t know he didn’t give a reason he just told me to tell you no. I’m sorry I hope you find help.” As confused as I was I thanked her and hung up. Is this not where you go to find help? I’ve never experienced this level of unprofessionalism. I’m truly disgusted to say the least. I hope he’s not treating his actual patients like this. But after reading multiple other reviews, it appears he is. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Why become a doctor if you’re going to pick and choose who you want to help?

Receptionist is coo coo. Makes the doctor seem extremely unprofessional.

If you’re an addict who wants easy access to meds and no actual help, go to this “doctor”

Something very sketchy about this place. If you’re thinking of transferring from a different doctor - don’t. This office will book your “appointment”, then call again (6 calls in one day - receptionist requesting medical info), once received, receptionist explains how Dr. Hege can’t see you... so I responded “That’s fine, do you maybe have a referral? Since Dr. Hege’s expertise is exactly what I need, I need to understand why that doesn’t make him a good match for me and what I should be seeking” According to his website, my history and conditions are almost identical to what he treats in patients. 100% SOMETHING ILLEGAL IS BEING DONE HERE. Please be smart about SS# and personal medical data. You’re welcome.

Hands down, the strangest office staff I’ve ever come in contact with. These people are sketchballs. Seriously, just the way the receptionist calls you - it sounds like she is high on pills. Just call and request an appt and you’ll know what I mean. He also doesn’t accept patients that aren’t road trash looking for drugs. Good luck.

Hes all about money money money!

Have very much enjoyed my experience thus far with Dr. Hege & staff. Always very friendly. Appreciate weekend availability! Appts last just a short time (only negative), and commute here takes longer than appt! Would also like opportunity for less frequent visits, but understand need as medications, frequency, & dosing changes & requirements for flu!

Dr. Hege and his staff are all extremely friendly. They're all very helpful. Dr. Hege is an excellent doctor. I could not be happier as a patient here.

I called to see about getting tested for ADD. The receptionist put me on hold immediately after answering. I sat and waited for several minutes and then when the receptionist picked up the phone again she refused to let me schedule an appointment. She told me that I had better read everything on the website before scheduling an appointment.

After years of searching for answers, within minutes, Dr Hege helped me with an accurate diagnosis. It changed my life. He is a seasoned professional in this field with a passion for helping others. I love that he lays out your options and takes the time for you to understand and be comfortable with what's going on. Appointments are easy to get on short notice and hours of operation are extended past the norm so you don't have to take off work!!

Unsure about the negative reviews. Have seen Dr. Hege for two years and had a positive experience with him and his staff. Longest I sat in wait room was 15 tp 20 minutes. Last time I was there I got right in. If you're looking for therapy, this isn't it. If you're looking for a good diagnostic psychiatrist and med management, make an appointment. Dr Hege is clear and to the point. Appears to listen intently and to be thorough at each appointment.

Too many arrogant instances with Dr. Hege and with his office staff. He will never get to even slightest personal level. It's all business to him. Hence, compassion doesn't exist. :-(

I have been a patient for close to a decade. Dr Hege has been extremely helpful and his staff is very friendly. I am always on time and rarely do I wait more than five minutes. Dr Hege is friendly, professional, always smiles and listens, and has helped me lead a highly productive and healthy life.

Nice staff and service, but completely fraudulent doctor. One of those guys everyone knows to go to get whatever they need. No better then a street level drug dealer.

Thank you for the help I have received and the hours that are so accommodating to my work & life schedule. It's nice to be heard and not made to feel bad when I express my feelings, which isn't easy for me to do anyways. Thanks Dr. Hege & staff!

Warning!!!! please look for another Dr. I just want to warn anyone out her that this man is extremely dangerous. My experience was a while back, but i see he is still on his evil mission to make cash and throw pills out to anyone. So glad people are speaking out. He put me on the drug Miripex for depression and it destroyed my life! I was a stay at home mom in atlanta with 2 precious boys and a terrific husband. I Have battled with depression. Many meds worked but, unfortunately most would work a year then wearoff. The medicine , Mirpex was not approved for depression but he used becsuse of the high dopimine levels. Guess what that does to you? Mania!!!! I was put in a hospital, lost my husband, did things i never imagined that i would ever do! I lost everything!!!! I keep looking to see if he has been sued or sent to prision!!! I wish that when this happened or after that i would have had the strength to sue him. Best wishes

Dr. Hege and his staff have always been very professional, thoughtful and considerate. The most organized doctors office where I have been a patient. At the same time, everyone is very personable - good balance for all!!

Consistent, empathetic, extremely experienced & astute. Great, wry sense of humor. Good instincts. Though I see him mostly for medication management, I always look forward to my appointments.

Dr. Hege is professional and kind. He treats me with respect and listens to each concern.
