Dr Dave preys on his patients that are at their wits end pleading for help!! I saw Dr Dave for a short while for PTSD he suggested I try biofeedback, but what he had me pay for, and participate in for $150 20 minutes at a time, and had advertised in his office by video on his tv, poster on his wall, and pamphlet he passed out was in fact not biofeedback!! My cousin served in the military and fought five tours, and suffers from PTSD really bad he did biofeedback as one of treatments offered through the military so when I told him my doctor had it at his office he was excited for me!! I got excited too it’s reallt affected my life, and I needed help for it!! I wasn’t functioning, and had anxiety, and social problems!! My cousins told me it helped retrain his brain, and lowered his triggers so I went into it with hopes of improving!! I went to about 3 sessions where I laid on my back for 20 mins with a machine on my ears that worked like a tens unit for 20 minutes at a time!!! It did seem… to calm my anxiety some for about 30 minutes after I used it!! I had talked to my cousin about what biofeedback was, and he broke it down for me, but never told me about this part so I was confused!! I thought maybe it’s something new they were trying, but he told me he only wanted me to do 5-6 sessions of biofeedback at $150 a session, and I was already going on my fourth!! I went into to the fourth visit, although they had told me to lay still and stay off my phone I couldn’t help to google the name of the machine, and it said that it helped with anxiety, insomnia, depression, etc, and it was on Amazon for $700 new!! That was just happened to be the sum of the money I was paying for the 5 sessions of biofeedback he had insisted would make a big difference in my life!! I asked the nurse what was next when she came back to check the machine at the end, and she said what do you mean, and I told her I read the pamphlet, watched the video, talked to someone that had done biofeedback, and even talked to my counselor at an outpatient program that was very optimistic about me doing biofeedback as well, but described it much different too!!! She told me I would have to talk to Dr Dave she didn’t know she just adjusts the machine as asked and wasn’t familiar with biofeedback, but was preforming it on me or at least what they were claiming biofeedback to be!! I left a message for him to call me! I waited 2 weeks, and cancelled my next session saying I was ill!! Which he charged me $55 for missing, and not contacting them 24 hrs in advance!! I really just didn’t want to go until he talked to me more about it bc I was very confused! The $55 was ridiculous bc who knows they’re going to fall ill 24 hrs in advance!! That’s just someone who is money hungry!! Two weeks went by and no call!! I called back waited a week more, and still no call!! Needless to say I quit the so called biofeedback all together bc I could never get an answer from him!! He was using me to pay for his machine!! 5 sessions lol?? the description online says you should use it everyday for 20-30 minutes to receive optimal results, and lower the use of medicine, but 5 sessions at $150 a pop was just going to get me to the point I no longer needed anxiety meds!! NO!! I got scammed, and taken advantage of!! The worst part is I’m on disability!! I’m with it mentally so I picked up on his scam, but how man other people that are below poverty level does he take advantage of at $150 a pop when they have no money to begin with, and would be less suspecting bc they have challenges that keep them from seeing things like this!! I don’t see how he made psychiatrist of the year in Texas this year I don’t know who determines that, but he’s a quack!! He false advertises for monetary gain like the christian posters, and stuff he posts In his office, but if you bring God or Jesus into your session, and say you believe God’s been telling you it may be a good time to go back to work after much prayer, and consideration he suggests you might be hallucinating, and he doesn’t even have any real knowledge of Christ after being prepped!!! Leave this one in the classifieds!! Bryan doesn’t have many psychiatrists, but even the telemedicine drs would be a better choice!! Good luck if you go to him, and watch your pocket book!!
