Dr. David Alan Godwin, MD

He saved my life almost 30 years ago.

It's been a roller coaster of a year with abnormal test results, ultrasounds and surgery, but I could not have made it through without Dr. Godwin. His bedside manner, communication and responsiveness is unmatched. I'm super thankful to have found him and the Commonwealth team!

I needed a new doctor just for my routine yearly visit. I was able to get in for a pap smear and blood work with Dr. Godwin at Commonwealth Women's Care. He was able to see me the following week after I called and everyone in his office was very nice and attentive. I will definitely return to him and recommend him to my friends.

I have had endometriosis for many years and I have never found a doctor who could help me until I went to Dr. David Godwin. I was skeptical at first because I wanted to see a female physician, but I decided to see him and he has helped me so much. No one has been able to help me until I went to Dr. Godwin. He diagnosed me with endometriosis and did a procedure on me and I felt better almost immediately. He has been a blessing to me.

After experiencing painful periods for most of my adult life, I finally found someone who could help me. I was also having a hard time conceiving when my friend who is a nurse told me I should go see Dr. David Godwin. She said he was one of the best gynecologists around. He found out that I had poly-cystic ovarian syndrome. He helped me so much and I can now say I am 6 months pregnant with our first child. I can't say enough good things about him.
