Dr. David Oladimeji Akerele, MD

My son has been with Dr Akerle since August of 2022. What attracted us to Springfield Clinic and Dr Akerle is the 30 minute meet and greet. I was hoping this appointment would be filled with an opportunity for my son to gain a new perspective of doctors. Upon our first appointment the staff were light hearted and welcoming. During the meet and greet we both stated our expectations of care and my son was able to let his guard down. Prior to this appointment he would start crying in the parking lot. Dr Akerle has a respectable and amazing bed side manner. He listens to my son and doesn’t try to push him past his level of comfort. During appointments he listens to our concerns and doesn’t mind his playfulness and interruptions. He also gets on his level and talks to him and explains what he is doing to him. He also ask for permission from me and from my son prior to examining him. I truly am blessed to have stubbled upon a Doctor as kind and knowledgeable as Dr.Akerle.
