Dr. David L Andolino, MD

His knowledge is unquestionable and undeniable. Probably the smartest doctor I've ever met. I've been battling a condition for over 10 years and it was finally a visit with Dr Andolino that I came to the best ways to deal with it. More importantly, it was his sense of humor and his way of putting me at ease that would make me recommend him unhesitatingly. I am an older woman who has seen lots of doctors, and I can tell you the Dr A. Is one of the finest!

I decided to post this review after recently learning of another patient with an experience similar to mine with Dr. Andolino. A friend (more of an acquaintance) of mine discovered that we had both seen Dr. Andolino. She actually underwent treatment (Radiation) w/Dr. Andolino, but also expressed feeling uncomfortable at times with interactions with him & only continued to see him because she had already started treatment. I saw Dr. A for a consult after being referred by another oncologist. Admittedly, I was a bit nervous about deciding how to proceed with my treatment. However, after meeting Dr. A. at the consultation, I knew that I would not be moving forward with him. He made me feel awkward & uncomfortable during our interaction. He seemed to be attentive to me at one moment (to the point of making me feel creepy) & then aloof & uncomfortable & unsure of himself the next. I think maybe he sensed the fact that he had made me feel uncomfortable & then he was nervous & uncomfortable… himself. The rest of my consultation was uncomfortable & he barely made eye contact & seemed to cut the consultation short. I still had many questions, but I was relieved that it was ended quickly because I already knew that I did not feel at all comfortable with him & knew I would never choose him as my doctor. I thought he was so bad that I wondered why anyone would ever refer me to him & then I learned that it's fairly common if doctors work together in the same hospital system. I knew I needed to post a review after I came across someone else that had felt the same way about him. Both of us being female, I think other patients (female) should at least be warned. He may actually be a knowledgeable doctor, but it doesn't matter if he's creepy & makes you feel uncomfortable. As a result, I obviously felt very negative about the entire experience. I'm remaining anonymous because my friend still has to see him occasionally for follow up visits.
