Dr. David Bradford Cohen, MD

I visited w dr cohen April 2022. He recommended I have 2 additional test (Ct scan and a nerve conduction test ) after my neck surgery in February of 2020 and ulnar nerve surgery in 1994. I had these tests and have reached out to his office multiple times and have not gotten any response on what my next option should be. Please respond. Restless sleep for 30 plus years. Tim K

Dr. Cohen is a thoughtful, compassionate doctor. He is cautious about recommending surgery instead looking for other solutions before picking up a knife.

Dr. Cohen is a good surgeon. He told me exactly what I needed done to correct my back and that surgery would be my best option as I had two degenerative discs in my lumbar region L4,L5 S1. So after another test he performed that told him where my pain was and what surgery i needed. I scheduled my surgery and had it done 5 weeks ago. I live a couple hrs away & Dr. Cohen was my 4th opinion so far I made the right choice & chose the best surgeon I found in a couple months of research. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Cohen is very professional, he cares about his patients and takes time to explain there conditions and what treatment options are available. I have been a patient for over 13 years, and would not go to see anyone else for my concerns and conditions.

First visit with Dr. Cohen, he was excellent addressing my concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and respectful. He listened well to my problems and checked me out thoroughly before he gave his diagnosis. I will definitely recommend him to others.

He was unprepared for the appt after I had sent scans and records. He was very rude, arrogant and didn’t let me answer his questions without interrupting . Unapproachable. Argumentative saying that he had no recent records even though they were visible to us on his computer. He was told by the office manager that we were uncomfortable with his behavior. He came back in and said he indeed did have our records. I would never see him or refer to him. His manner with us after waiting months to see him and traveling in pain from 20 hours away was very disrespectful. The office manager was very professional in handling the matter.

I don’t know why I was scheduled with ortho & neuro surgery for the same problem. Once Dr. Cohen asked me a few questions he told me I had the wrong department. I understood why & I thanked him for his time and was heading out the door when he asked me to slow down. LOL Dr. Cohen did not have to do this, but he went ahead & wanted to know more about my injuries I sustained by a road side bomb in Afghanistan over 13 years ago and I still have severe & chronic pain no one has been able to help me with. Dr. Cohen also did an exam before I left. I also want to thank Dr. Lo, Dr. Belzberg, & Ms. Leslie Morgan, CNP, for going out of their way to help me. Please, never compare Johns Hopkins to the V.A. or Walter Reed. This place has the best of the best physicians in the world.
