Dr. Ballard is my favorite doctor of any doctor. He is so smart and pays attention to what you say. I like the fact that he really cares about you. Dr. Ballard has been my Gastroenterologist for 20 plus years now. When I have not been in for a few years and then go see him he always remembers my case. He is like a friend as well as my doctor.

Dr. Ballard saved my life and the lives of two of my children. We were misdiagnosed and he found the appropriate treatments for us. Just a FYI - Dr. Ballard is now retired and not practicing. We miss him very much!

He may be intelligent and educated but he lacks in bedside manner. He is also overbooked, condescending, and does not go out of his way to help his patients

Dr. Ballard is the best, bar none. He has actually diagnosed several NON-GASTO conditions that my other doctors missed - and my gastro care is the best! He takes a long time to see you because he SPEND TIME WITH HIS PATIENTS. It takes awhile to get in to see him because he's WONDERFUL!Worth the wait...Patient for 22 years

My daughter was in the hospital for 5 days, out for 6, then returned for another 4 days with uncontrolled vomiting. The Gastro Dr. assigned to us could not tell us the problem after multiple tests, and gave up trying to find the problem and focused on solving the symptoms. I asked for a 2nd opinion from Dr. Ballard and after the FIRST meeting with her, he ran a test for a rare disease and found the answer. The disease is treatable, and obviously, we were estatic- great job Dr. Ballard!
