Dr. David William Beahm

Dr. Beahm was my chilhood doctor since the day I was born. I was diagnosed with a heart murmer when I was under 2 years old. It has since healed completely. I was also diagnosed with a bone infection in my right foot. He took amazing care of me and did everything in his power to make sure I was taken care of. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone I know. It's so sad that he is retireing. I would have taken my own children to him. He is wonderful and was wonderful to me and my other 3 siblings. :))

We no longer live in the area, but when my 3 y/o daughter was running extremely high fevers on and off for the duration of 6+ months because of UTI's, it was shrugged off as something that "she will grow out of". When our family moved (several states away) and she began having another round of fevers and another UTI we brought her to our new pediatrician's office and this was not taken lightly and that staff was quite frustrated with the lack of effort given (or not given) by Dr. Beahm. My daughter was diagnosed with extreme bladder reflux and a scarred left kidney. She is still on medication and I am extremely grateful for the promptness of another doctor. Dr. Beahm is a great doctor, when your child is not sick. I would never, ever recommend anyone to him.

I asked repeatedly about my (then) toddler son's testicles possibly being undescended. I was patted on the head and told not to worry for several YEARS and my gut told me this wasn't right. I switched pediatricians and the new doctor took one look and referred him to a urologist where he underwent surgery to correct this problem. Dr. Beahm may be good at handling the day to day (colds, flu, etc), but when a REAL problem arises, get to someone else pronto!
