Dr. David Whitehead

Never again. I will drive ANYWHERE before I see him again. Went in with constant indigestion and heartburn. He told me that he did not believe I was hurting because if so, I wouldn’t be my size, so it’s clear I’m able to eat. After the procedure, he tells me I must be unhappy with my marriage and I may want to consider marriage counseling. left AMA before my discharge was completed. My husband and my mother were at my bedside, both with their mouth hanging open. It’s obvious that someone hurt this man and I’m sorry for that but taking it out on patients is not advisable. Also not advisable to call a woman fat. I gave a 1star rating because I was unable to give a negative 5 star.

Had a procedure today . Went well. Staff was incredibly friendly .

This doctor literally saved my life. I had an obstruction in my esophagus and had to have emergency surgery about 12 years ago. Since then I have been being treated (multiple times a year) to help keep my throat large enough to get thru daily life. His staff is extremely courteous and have truly become like a second family to me. I recommend him and his endoscopy center to everyone.

After he introduced himself, his first words to me was, I’ve seen you for this problem before. My answer was no, I just recently move here. Then he ask me if I was sure. I said I was sure. It was down hill from that point. I have never meet a doctor that was so rude. I was charged for a 45minute new patient visit and I he was with me no more than 8 minutes, perhaps less.

I like him. Personable, yet to the point and through.

My name is Morris Muse. Dr. Whitehead treated my wife. His high skills saved my wife Vergie Muse life. We are very glad we met up with him.

He is a Horrible Doctor that should not be in practice. His staff is rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone to this "Doctor."

An excellent physician. I am so fortunate he was referred to me by my FP Physician. He told me exactly what was happening and contacted oncologist and surgeon which are both 5 star. I was never fearful for one minute and knew I was in good hands.

In 2010, Dr. Whitehead performed my â??50,000â?? mile checkup -- colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy (at the same time rather than separate times). He discovered a serious stomach ulcer that was close to an artery. Diagnosis was H pylori. Iâ??m cured. Dr. Whitehead very could have saved my life. I was especially thankful he performed both procedures at one time rather than making me take anesthesia twice which would have generated more revenue but, the doctor was more interested in patient care than revenue.

Dr. Whitehead met and exceeded my expectations!
