Dr. David Lyndell Cute Jr., DO

David Cute, DO, is an ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist. He treats adults for a variety of eye conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, IOL disorders and iris disorders. He performs laser therapies and microinvasive and conventional procedures to manage glaucoma. Dr. Cute also performs routine and complex cataract surgery, surgery to repair intraocular lens complications and to repair iris defects. He greatly appreciates “the opportunity to help improve a patient's vision and, therefore, their quality of life.”Dr. Cute earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and his glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. “This is a wonderful environment in which to work, alongside caring coworkers whose focus is to provide the best ophthalmic care possible working together to preserve and optimize …the vision for each patient,” he says, adding that his 21 years of service with the U.S. Navy taught him to work effectively with teams.
