Dr. David Dennis Dargis, DO

Incompetent isn't a strong enough word. The man doesn't know what he's doing. Because of his lack of medical knowledge my spouse almost died. I don't know if he was stupid or just didn't care. Would NEVER let him examine or treat anyone in my family again.

I went to Dargis with some serious health complaints, waited four hours, and his super scientific 'diagnosis' was that God wouldn't give me more than I could handle, and my symptoms were all in my head. Within twenty four hours of seeing this flunky, another physician referred me to a specialist who diagnosed and treated my illness. I wouldn't trust this man with my dogs.

Had a 3-hour wait, which I understand was not normal. Short- staffed? Very nice and knowledgeable physician, though, and if I needed care when I am in that area again, I would return.

Out of desperation I went to see Dargis for a very serious condition that had been previously undiagnosed. I provided him with a typed list detailing the progression of my symptoms, yet he didn't bother to read it. In fact I'm not sure that he heard a word I said. I couldn't finish a sentence without being interrupted and he never so much as pulled out a stethoscope. He basically told me to think happy thoughts and go home. Less than twenty four hours later, I was treated in the emergency room for a very real medical condition which could have been avoided had Dargis done his job. Don't risk your health.

This doctor has not an ounce of patience. As soon as you start talking to him and asking questions, he comes to a very aggravated attitude. He is a young man and a fairly new doctor. I think he missed his calling. He should be barking on the stock exchange floor. He actually yelled at me.
