Dr. David Arthur Duchene, MD

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Duchene. He performed a nephrectomy on my 84-year-old mom to remove the source of her recurrent UTIs that were becoming antibiotic-resistant. The kidney had a very large abscess on it that was harboring bacteria. He is very sharp. He requested several tests and imaging scans and did his homework to make sure he knew everything about her condition and her health complications before agreeing to do anything. He was thoroughly prepared. He is open and frank, yet kind, compassionate, and friendly. He always made us feel like he had plenty of time to explain the procedure and the risks and to answer all of our questions. I'm glad he didn't treat us like we were in a drive-thru. He took the time to do everything right. The surgery went smoothly, and my mom is doing great now. Thank you, Dr. Duchene.

Dr. Duchene removed a 5 centimeter tumor from my left kidney, and then saved the kidney. I am in the 3rd stage of kidney failure and could not have afforded to lose a kidney. He was always there to answer questions and advise me . He is very personable (and a great surgeon!). My deepest appreciation for his skills.
