Dr. David E Bybee, MD

I want to give a negative star that's how awful he is. I can't say it enough but this "doctor" is so horrible!!! He didn't go over the issue I came for, focused on another (which I have under control). THEN (!!!) the jerk tells me to shut up when I was telling him something when he was starting to type. My husband wanted to reach across at the jerk! He should stay out on his boat he talks about so much, and do us all a favor an retire!!!

I always came away with more questions than answers. He is a very NICE man,however, he was all about calculations etc. Doesn't want to spend much time with your issues.,like things that are critical to my care.i was disappointed and with all respect due him I am glad he is retiring....I will have another chance to get the answers I seek!

Disappointed to see two negative review for Dr. Bybee on this site. I have been seeing him for 4 1/2 years for Type 1 diabetes after running into some challenges with my old insulin regimen. I would recommend him to anyone needing a good diabetes doctor. He has helped introduce me to new therapies to eliminate problems with some serious low blood sugar episodes. He tries to arm you with knowledge so you are empowered to manage things yourself--he has taught me a lot about my diabetes and I'd had it 28 years before I ever saw him. Office staff is very professional across the board, and fairly easy to get/change appointments.

I was referred to Dr. Bybee and felt uncomfortable from the beginning. He did not listen to me, focused only on my TSH level and was not able to answer questions about my other thyroid levels being off. First he said I had an enlarged thyroid and then he said it was on the large side of normal. I felt uncomfortable and my instincts told me to seek another endocrinologist. I am so glad and went to see Dr. Nisha Varghese. She listened to me, spent an hour with me going over everything, then felt my thyroid and did a thyroid ultrasound. What she found was a 3cm nodule on my thyroid! I am now scheduled for a FNA of the nodule to rule out thyroid cancer. I am so thankful I trusted my gut and saw someone else. Dr. Bybee needs to retire! I paid out $100 in copays and no telling what they billed my insurance company. In my opinion and in my experience Dr. Bybee is extremely incompetent!

Absoulutely the worst experience of my life. Never go to this guy ever. Waste of money and he knows nothing about low testerone leves. I'm a 22 year ols male with a testerone level of 241 and he said thats normal. Every other doctor said it was not normal. He costed me years of my life. Horrible doctor and a waste of $1600 and my time!
